Hello and welcome to Anime-Europe.

We have been around for a few years, but are currently going through a reorganisation. Everything should be up and running soon.

This website is continuing to grow and expand almost daily. We started with one page and a handfull of graphics just a few years ago. We recently took a complete back up and found the site now comprises of 9,721 files in 396 folders. It is spread across 4 servers, already occupies 987 MB and uses 7 MySQL databases. The pages are a mixture of html, php, cgi, pearl, dhtml, javascript, css and java.

We have now gone through a rationalisation process to enable us to continue to grow in the future. This new version of the website is the result.

We believe that we have the biggest gallery of European anime convention photographs. If you are interested in cosplay be sure not to miss it. This is another area where we are upating our software, so there are 2 galleries, with an archive for pre-2004 and a new gallery going forward.

We are also accepting links for our web site directory, which we believe is already the largest anime and manga links directory in the UK. If you have your own site, or a site you like to visit a lot, please take the time to choose a category and submit it to the directory.

Don't forget, we still have a very large and busy anime and manga discussion forum. Check there to find out about the latest meets and conventions as well as discuss anime, games and manga with fellow fans.

I would also recommend registering with the site. This brings many benefits. To begin with, you will be able to use more functions within the photo gallery, submit news stories, review new anime and upload links to the directory. Registering will also give you access to the latest bittorrents and our basic exchange rate converter in the right margin of this web page. Over the next few months we will be gradually introducing many more member only services (including full web mail accounts). I am very sorry, but registration for the Anime-Europe forum (or old gallery) is still separate from registration here, so you will need to do it again.

New Content will gradually be copied over to this site during the next couple of weeks, leading up to the launch on March 14th at MinamiCon 10 in Southampton, UK. We will then finally be in a position to start advertising the site and offering our web services to the rest of the community.

Important Registration Information Please remember to give a valid email address when registering. If you don't complete this correctly you will be unable to complete the registration process.
